Ed and Rachel Frazier established Smith Lake Realty in 1972, making it one of the lake’s original real estate brokerages. They built a family business around a place—and a community—that meant so much to them.
As the years passed, their daughters, Maria Frazier McLain and Tonya Frazier, joined them as agents. The company became a shared family endeavor, with each generation adding to the foundation Ed and Rachel had laid.
For the founders, the hope was always that the business would stay in the family. That hope became a new chapter when their granddaughter Mary Beth stepped forward.
